My first introduction to art was at 14 when I sat in the studio of Serge
Poliakoff. He had studied at Slade and used Turner's palette. He was not very forthcoming about his art

Taught by Cecil Collins in 1974 and then by Sir Terry Frost having gained a bursary
to Byam Shaw school of Drawing & Painting
